Canberra and Yass Railway Museums

The Australian Railway Historical Society (ACT Division) operates the Canberra Railway Museum in the Canberra suburb of Kingston.

Another rail heritage site, the Yass Railway Museum, was established by the Society and is today operated by Yass Council.

Both provide an insight into part of the history of both centres, and visitors are encouraged to view the restored engines, carriages and freight vehicles, and learn their history.
