MRC Refrigerated Vans

The bogie-equipped MRC refrigerated vans were used on the New South Wales Railways for carrying perishable freight.

MRC 25723 and MRC 25735 were built in 1949, and MRC 25752 in 1950.

All were equipped with ice compartments which were accessed from hatches on the van's roof.

They came to the Society in 1984, and are used today as storage vans.
