Here is an ideal opportunity to take a scenic trip in 2008 by vintage train and spend time enjoying the features offered in Bungendore.
Travel behind a restored heritage locomotive, in historic end-platform carriages with comfortable seating and with light refreshments available on board.
Your train will climb through the scenic Molonglo Gorge, pass through three tunnels and cross two major bridges before arriving at Bungendore.
Enjoy 2 hours to browse the markets or shops in Bungendore. There is plenty to see - Bungendore has a great range of craft shops and cafés, and nearby picnic areas, to suit all interests.
You can book ahead, or - subject to seats being available - purchase tickets on the train.
Space for small folding strollers is available close to your seat. Please enquire about wheelchair access when booking.* Please note: late each year, dry conditions in the region means this train may need to be hauled by a veteran diesel rather than a steam loco. Check closer to the time of travel for more information.
